It's been a month!?

It's been a little more than a month since Kendyll was born. Hard to believe where all that time went! Our little "bamboocha" (for those of you not familiar with our slang- it means big, large, giant. Pronounced bomb-bu-cha) is gaining weight very well. She's up to about 10 lbs! Fits into 3 month clothes very well- in fact, we had to give her hand-me-downs to her friend, Kenna, who was born on the same day!

Cade enjoying his yogurt, while Kendyll eyes it out.

Hard to believe, but Kendyll doesn't smile much. These are two recent smiles I captured. Can't wait for more that aren't caused by gas!

Everyone comments on all her hair. Thanks Aunty Lori for the cute bows!

Cade locked himself in his jail

Our 22 month old has an affinity for lining his toys up. He even makes sure it's perfectly straight!

Look carefully! I turned my back and this is where I found him! Good thing it wasn't higher...

This is how you entertain a 22 month old for hours! Ok, not hours in a row, since he also gets easily distracted. But, every 10-15 min he would come back and feed his piggy, which makes obnoxious snorting noises. Thanks Aunty Joc!

This dirty face has come to be a norm in our house. He goes straight into the bath!

Last week we attended two graduations on one night! First, Rysee graduated from preschool! Yay Rysee!

Then we rushed over to congratulate Caitlyn from graduating from high school! Go Caity! Cade was in awe of the stadium lights, people and leis. His facial expression didn't change the entire time we were there!

Life with two kids...

It's only been about three weeks, but we admit that transitioning to having two kids was much easier than when we transitioned to having Cade. The major aspect we had to adjust to again were the midnight feedings! We can't grumble, though, Kendyll is a very sweet and calm baby. She can go about 3-4 hours between feedings already- something she has done since birth- and has even gone almost 6 hours at times! Cade wanted to be fed every 2 hours... so we are getting a little more sleep with her.

Here's some of Kendyll's faces:

A full tummy

Big YAWN!

I'm HUNGRY-NOW!

OH!

Kendyll is growing very fast, but we are all still surprised at how tiny she is compared to Cade. She grew 2.5 inches and a full pound since birth!

Cade is also doing a lot better with Kendyll. He still has his jealous moments, but he's willing to share his toys with her and give her lots of love and kisses! We're working on being gentle with her.

One of Garrett's physical therapy books was in the living room, so Cade decided to start reading and looking at the pictures.

Cade exercising on Garrett's pull-up bar. Looks more like gymnastics or ballet to me!
Garrett couldn't resist buying Cade his first golf club.
