Florida Trip; More Jacksonville...

We explored more of Jacksonville on Monday. Visited the MOSH (Museum of Science and History) in the downtown area

The opossums were fascinating to us since we don't have them in Hawaii!

 Cade loved the train display!

We found a great place to eat lunch! The food was so ono!

Then we headed to TPC Sawgrass

When we visited 5 years ago, it was raining, so we didn't get to tour the clubhouse and course

The winner of the tournament has to give a club

Backside of the clubhouse. BEAUTIFUL!

The infamous 17th hole. Can you believe over 120,000 balls go in there annually!

There's even a resident gator on the course!

Uncle Brent spoiled the kids with HUGE lollipops!

Florida Trip; Jacksonville...

After a week in Orlando, we were ready to move on up to Jacksonville. Uncle Brent greeted us at Aunty Lisa's with yummy take-out, then he proceeded to let Kenny paint his nails "mermaid blue". What a sport Uncle Brent!

On Sunday we visited an alligator zoo

The kids and Gammy walked around and played

The four of us did an obstacle course/zipline challenge. We weren't sure what to expect...

Being 20-30 feet in the trees for almost 2 hours was challenging, but fun!

Over the zoo area were about 45 platforms, and connecting each platform was some sort of obstacle or zipline. It was more challenging because you had to clip and unclip yourself in. It was a lot of fun, but I was happy to have my feet back on the ground!

We fed the alligators after; I was amazed they could see the tiny food!

After the alligator zoo and zipline, we proceeded to the town of St. Augustine. This historical area was quite interesting and filled with lots of old fashioned charm.

Wall made out of shells

Of course I had to go into the school. It ended up having a cute little gift shop with funny school signs!

Yummy homemade popsicles!

The kids loved this little sign...

...Kenny kept posing and told me to take her pic...

...as she quickly ran to a different spot and said "cheese"!

Kendyll told us she was mad for returning the stroller in Orlando. She didn't quite understand that we only had it for the theme parks. Uncle Brent offered to carry her on his shoulders.

Of course, Cade needed to have his chance up on "shoulders" too!

The historic St. Augustine fort was so pretty at sunset. We just missed being able to go inside because they closed.

Someone wasn't excited to take a family pic

Florida Trip, Islands of Adventure...

The kids were begging to stay back at the condo and play with their new toys!

When planning for Universal, we realized there were two different parks. We decided to do them on two separate days, instead of rushing through both in a day.

We conquered the Hulk first thing in the morning! What an adrenaline rush!

The kids played around while they waited for us. Luckily, the line was very short!

Gammy and Aunty Lisa are Harry Potter fans, so of course we headed there right after.

Cade loved the Butterbeer!

We rode the red track! It was another adrenaline rush!

While Aunty Lisa and Gammy rode a Harry Potter ride, we ventured back to Dr. Seuss area.

Daddy's bright idea to let the kids get all wet in the play area... and Mommy didn't bring change of clothes that day!

Unfortunately, the line was too long for Spiderman. We'll just have to wait for our next trip!

Jurassic Park ride broke down too, so another ride we'll have to do another trip

Daddy found another treat: a cookie in a brownie!

Kenny loved it!

After six days of non-stop amusement parks... it was time to bid farewell to Orlando. We are thankful and fortunate to have had the opportunity to make so many fun memories together! We seem to be on the five year rotation for Florida... we'll see!
