One of my requests for the trip was to buy special event tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on Tuesday night. While I was researching, this night seemed to be the least crowded night... so we decided to try it out! The event requires a separate ticket than normal day tickets, and allows you into the park from 7-midnight (I actually read that you can go in as early as 4). We had gone to the Animal Kingdom that morning, so decided to take a nap before we headed in.

During this special event, you're given a wristband to wear so the cast
members know you have a valid ticket. They check for the first couple
of hours while they gently escort the day guests out.
Unlimited hot cocoa and cookies! They had about a dozen locations around the park and you could get as many as you wanted! They even had a healthy alternative: apples!

It was a cold night, so the hot cocoa was a perfect way to keep us warm!
If you have the chance to go to Disney during the holidays... GO! We LOVED the decorations! It was so festive!
We are pretty familiar with Magic Kingdom since we had just spent two days at Disneyland in California last summer. We knew that if we could spend the majority of the night in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, we would satisfy our kiddos.
Cade's other favorite ride is Buzz Lightyear; again, they probably rode about half a dozen time!
While the boys stayed in Tomorrowland, the girls ventured off to Fantasyland in hopes of seeing some Princesses. No luck, but we did get to go on Teapots... even thought Mommy doesn't like that. I made Aunty Lisa promise NOT to spin it!

We watched the fireworks near the castle and saw a special Tinkerbell fly! The different colors on the castle as made it pretty!
The parade was crowded and we were a little annoyed at people in the front row who didn't sit! This was one of the only good pics I got.
It actually snowed (from a snow maker) during the parade!

Riding Dumbo! There are actually two identical rides since it's so popular!
Overall, we all agreed that the extra money we paid for this special event was worth it! It allowed us to ride the kid's favorite attractions multiple times since the crowds were relatively small.
