Seattle Trip Part 2

After a few days in Vegas, we headed back to Seattle for the last leg of our trip. It was a little strange to be visitors to a place we had lived for a few years- knowing where to go and eat and not really getting lost! But, it made it easier to plan and do things with the two little ones.
We visited a pumpkin patch that was near our old house in Fife. Cade really needed to stretch his legs out- he ran around that small little farm like a wild man!

Same pumpkin farm, two years later. Now with two of our own pumpkins!

Kenny looking a little scared of Uncle Kyle! Crazy man!
We were curious to see how Cade would react to Kyle- see if he would remember him at all. Not sure how much he remembered him, but you could definitely tell he was thinking of why he looked and sounded familiar.
All the kids! When we all first met, there was only Matt and Rylee- who were about 3 and 2 years old! Look at how our WA family has grown.
Can't forget the group pic! Thanks everyone for a great night of hanging out and catching up.
Cousins sleeping
We were also able to see some of my old coworker friends, Heather, Abbie and Cyrus! Oh how I miss FW! Sorry Jean, we didn't get a pic!
Kenny though Cyrus was hilarious!

Passed out on the airplane back to Hawaii.

Vegas!

We took a side trip from Seattle to Vegas for a few days. The kids are proving to be great travelers! They slept on the two hour flight to Vegas- even through the turbulence we experienced.
Cade and Kendyll enjoyed the Lied Children's Discovery Museum.
Cade's silly smile with the turtle and pretending to drive the airplane!
Measuring our petite kids. They're so tiny!
*Kaui and Cisco if you're reading this- Kaila and Cade need to meet up and go to Children's Museums together! I just saw your post about Chicago!
Papa Dean's dream- for the two kids to work on cars with him! Well, Cade would LOVE to. The tire lug nut remover thingy (I don't know it's technical name!) made noise when Cade pressed the trigger, so he was facinated with it! Kenny was content laying on the kreeper and sucking her fingers.
We visited the M&M factory. Cade enjoyed the racecar, but wasn't sure what to think when he saw the life-size Orange M&M.
Next door to M&M's is the Coke shop. We had a float sampler with different flavors of Coke or other sodas and a scoop of ice cream. Yes, between Garrett, my mom, me and Cade- we finished all of them. We weren't fans of the cherry or grape flavored sodas- so we let Cade have them! They tasted too much like medicines!

After a little bit of shopping, visiting our friend, Matt, plus some gambling at night (no big winners, except Lynn at Bingo!) - we had our share of Vegas for awhile. Back to Seattle!

Fall fun! Seattle Trip Part 1

We took an amazing trip to Washington and Las Vegas at the beginning of October. It was jam packed with lots of activities and friend visits. A little flu bug ran its course through the entire family, so unfortunately we weren't able to see or do everything we had wanted. But, that just means we'll have to visit again!

Kenny meeting Addison and Jacob for the first time! Jacob is already holding hands with Kenny...oh oh Addy, don't get mad! :)

Visiting the Woodland Park Zoo. We've spent hours there in a couple visits, yet still haven't seen all the animals! Cade and his new "smile" or lack thereof.

Kenny wasn't used to being all bundled up for the Fall weather. She didn't mind, though, and still looked cute!
Cade loved the tractor. He was a good boy and shared with the other kids.
Watching the airplanes and big tractors at the airport. On our way to Vegas!
