Graduations galore...

Alright, brace yourself for a post about graduations. We attended a total of five graduations in a one week time period. Crazy- well, we did four of them in three days! (I actually did one more than everyone else, but who's counting?) :)

Ok, first up was our cousin, Chansi. She graduated with her Associates degree on Mother's day/night.
Waiting for her after the ceremony

Chaz boy, Lia girl, Rysee were using their binoculars to find her! Cute!

Our kids need to practice smiling

Ok, next up was Lia's graduation from preschool (Friday night)

Then we quickly ate dinner and met up with my cousin, Tina, who graduated from Baldwin High School. Again, the kids really need to practice smiling! This wasn't their first time at a graduation, but they were so distracted and in awe of all the lights and balloons. It's sorta deja vu- we did the same preschool and high school graduation two years ago right after Kendyll was born. G and I were reminiscing about how the kids have changed so much in two years!

The next morning, Cade had his preschool graduation. Nope, don't worry- he didn't graduate yet. He's sitting in the middle in the front row as a "returnee". The kids performed about six songs- he sat and didn't move much. It's ok- he'll practice for his own graduation next year. :)

Ok, so this post wasn't all about graduations. We met up with our friends Haley and Steve who were visiting from Alaska! We spent the rest of Saturday afternoon with them in Kihei and Lahaina, then dropped them off at the harbor for their ride to Molokai.

We hung out under the famous Lahaina Banyan Tree. It was pretty cool to visit it and take the time to read about its history.

We quickly rushed back another cousin: Michael's graduation from Maui High School.

Phew! Ok, and if you're wondering- I mentioned before that I went to one more graduation- King Kekaulike- the high school I work at (and G and my alma mater)- that was Thursday night.

So, I think we're done for awhile. It was interesting to note- both Baldwin and Maui High school graduate at the same stadium, so as we were looking for parking on the 2nd night (for Mikey's grad), Cade said "OH NO- not AGAIN! We have to circle around and around for parking!" Luckily we found some parking and didn't have to walk too far. :)

Some non graduation pictures. The kids fight over "Lighting McQueen" because he rolls nicely on the wood floors. They decided to try and share one day. Of course, it didn't last long.

We think we have hit the "Terrible Two's" with Kenny.
Sorta funny, but not when you're in the moment. One day she will look back and laugh at it.

Until then, she's been sitting in time out a lot.
She decided to turn herself and put her face in the corner the other day.
I didn't tell her to do this, so don't get mad at me!
